How to generate API keys in Cryptowatch

When you are signed in to Cryptowatch, click the profile icon in the top-right of the page again. Click API Access from the drop-down menu.
Navigate to the API Access page by opening the profile menu in Cryptowatch.
Go to the Generate a key section and give your API key a relevant name to help you identify it in the future. You can also check the Read only box — Cryptofinance doesn’t need to send any information to Cryptowatch in order to work.
Enter a unique name and click “Read only” in the Generate a key section.
Next, click the Generate key button to create your new API key. If you have existing API keys, the one you’ve just created will appear at the bottom of the list.
Clicking Generate key will create a Public and a Private key in a new box under the Key name you entered above.
Only the Public key is required to connect Cryptofinance to your Cryptowatch account.

How to connect API keys in Cryptofinance

Open the Google Sheet where you’ve installed Cryptofinance. If you’ve followed the instructions above, you will have another option in the toolbar (to the right of Help) titled CRYPTOFINANCE.
Click the CRYPTOFINANCE button and select the second option —
Enter Cryptowatch Public API Key
The script you installed earlier will open a window over your spreadsheet. Copy and Paste the Public key you generated in Cryptowatch into the field:
Click OK and Cryptofinance will automatically connect to your Cryptowatch using the API key.

Cryptofinance Migrating to Cryptowatch

Since 2017, Cryptofinance has been reliably providing users with live and historical market data from over 46 exchanges. We are happy to announce that as of 2021, we are joining the Cryptowatch family.
Cryptowatch is a cryptocurrency trading platform that offers market data, charting, trading, alerts, and portfolio management all in one place.
We are excited about the move and think it will ultimately provide our users a better experience as more resources will help us improve the breadth of supported data endpoints, the number of exchanges covered, as well as general reliability.
